Create a new HTML document

You can create an empty HTML document or use one of available templates.

To create an empty HTML document

1. On the File menu, click New.
2. Select HTML document type.
3. Click OK.

To create an HTML document from a template

1. On the File menu, click New from Template.
2. In the New from Template window, click HTML tab and then click template you wish to use for your HTML document.
3. Click OK.

 Notes

• If the default new document type specified in Preferences is HTML (as it is by default), just click New on the toolbar.
